VDEQ‘s Office of Pollution Prevention provides technical assistance to the industry, develops guidance on green practices and innovative techniques and oversees the certification program.

Virginia State Parks works closely with Virginia Green to co-brand and support sustainable outdoor recreation. All 43 parks statewide are certified Virginia Green Travel partners!

The Virginia Green Travel Certification Program has developed ” reciprocal agreements” with the programs below. In other words, environmental commitments made through the Virginia Green certification process are recognized by the following groups and vice-versa.
